ARH are an innovative and dynamic business and continuous improvement is always a top priority. Especially when those improvements lead to streamlining internal processes which improves the everyday work experience for their staff across multiple departments.
ARH tasked Shoothill, a Shrewsbury based company who create custom software, to design, develop and launch a progressive web application. This app will allow ARH engineers who are currently working on 30+ projects across the U.K., to record and submit their timesheets, allowing for the live reporting of labour costs and summaries. In turn this allows decision makers to view data in real time, giving them the capability to monitor processes in a more simplified and structured way. This bespoke system will be hosted on Microsoft Azure, a leading cloud application platform that is a global leader when it comes to security, functionality and reliability.
Chris Horton, ARH Managing Director, comments, “ We are constantly assessing how we can improve our processes. By streamlining how our time in the field is recorded and by being able to manage engineers ‘time’ live we can ensure that we are as efficient in the field as possible, which in turn enables us to deliver Service Excellence to an even higher level. This new app will also enable engineers to manage and record their time, test readings and service sheets in a much simpler and less time consuming way. This in turn will have a knock on effect for those who use and manage time sheets and documentation at head office.”
