ARH was called to the New Forest Hotel following reports of a gas safety issue in the kitchen. Our team identified a fault with the gas interlock panel and quickly delivered a compliant replacement, restoring safe system function and ensuring kitchen operations could continue without risk.
Site staff reported that gas continued to flow even when the kitchen fans were switched off, presenting a serious safety risk. In addition, the stop and start controls on the interlock panel were unresponsive. Immediate action was required to identify the issue, rectify the fault, and safeguard kitchen operations.
An ARH engineer attended site to investigate. Testing confirmed that the gas solenoid valve was not being isolated when required, due to a faulty gas interlock panel. The panel also showed front-end control issues, with stop/start buttons not functioning correctly.
ARH provided a clear quotation for replacing the panel. Once approved, we carried out the works promptly, installing and commissioning a new gas interlock panel. The system was fully tested to confirm correct functionality and compliance with gas safety standards.
