ARH was appointed to resolve complaints about visible AC units at a dental practice located in a conservation-sensitive area. The project involved securing planning approval and installing bespoke screening to improve aesthetics while maintaining HVAC efficiency.
The AC units were considered unsightly by neighbouring residents and visible from their properties. As the site falls under strict planning controls due to its historical context, ARH needed to deliver a compliant and effective visual solution while managing the risk of enforcement action and further complaints.
ARH submitted detailed plans for a screening solution to the local council and gained approval. Once approved, our in-house engineers relocated the AC units to improve coverage, and our fabrication team installed bespoke panelled screening. All works followed strict health and safety protocols and were coordinated to minimise disruption to the dental practice.
