National Charity London 2 1

Keeping facilities running so a national charity’s London office can focus on what matters

Weekly FM and compliance support for a national charity’s office
Location:
Greater London
Project duration:
From early 2025 (ongoing)

Overview

ARH Group provides flexible, reliable facilities support to a national charity operating from an office space in Ewell, Greater London. The client needed a partner who could handle routine maintenance and compliance tasks without the overhead of an in-house FM team. ARH delivers a weekly, site-familiar presence that blends with the charity’s working environment while ensuring compliance and continuity.

The challenge

The charity required consistent FM support that wouldn’t disrupt day-to-day operations or require internal resources to manage. Compliance tasks such as fire testing, water checks and emergency lighting needed to be handled reliably, particularly when the internal facilities lead was unavailable.

Our approach

ARH Group delivers a one and a half day a week support model with a single dedicated engineer, providing:

  • General maintenance and minor repair work
  • Light decoration, electrical adjustments and office setups
  • Fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, water temperature monitoring
  • Fire door inspections and building condition assessments

This model ensures strong site familiarity, consistent quality and trusted on-site presence, all with the flexibility to adapt to the client’s needs.

The results

  • Trusted weekly FM presence with minimal disruption
  • Improved compliance visibility and reduced reactive maintenance
  • Reliable cover during internal staff absences
  • Strong working relationship with the client’s team
  • Flexible delivery that avoids the need for in-house FM resourcing
“Our engineer has become a part of the team. It’s reassuring to know that everything is taken care of whether that’s compliance checks or the little fixes that make a difference in our working day they’ve got it covered.”
