Maintenance Technician/Fabric Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an Maintenance Technician/Fabric Engineer (Building Fabric/Plumber/Joinery) based in or around Maidstone, Kent. This is a full time, permanent position.
The role covers multiple locations within a selected region in your base location, so you will be provided with a Company van and plant to carry out your day-to-day duties. There is also a door-to-door payment system along with an attractive overtime package and paid rest time following any night works.
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Mobile Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in building fabric repairs, plumbing, and joinery.
As a Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site repair and maintenance services for our customers.
This position requires regular travel to customer sites, often by van, tube, or train, and flexibility in covering various distances to ensure our clients’ needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Essential Criteria:
- Full Valid Driving Licence
- Capable of using inhouse systems on a tablet device to log works (training provided)
- Proven experience as a mobile engineer or handyman with expertise in building fabric repairs, plumbing, and joinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus.
